Leo Garcia wins the 5th edition of the Institut d'Estudis Valencians awards

Last Saturday, May 25, the award for literary creation in the Valencian language Manuela Solís i Claràs of the 5th edition of the Institut d'Estudis Valencians Awards was presented. The awarding ceremony takes place as part of the Loyalty Award gala organized by the Accio Valencianista Group at the La Hipica restaurant in Valencia.

The award went to the novel Desapareguda, by the author Leo Garcia i Gadea, this being his "first work". The jury formed by the writer Enric Calvo, winner of the previous edition, Rafael Medina, vice president of the Institute and Miquel Rodrigo, secretary of international relations, have assessed the literary quality of this first foray into narrative by Garcia Gadea.
