Book of Sunna and Sharia. A code of Islamic law in the Valencian region
The manuscript, whose authorship is unknown, bears the original title, in Valencian, of Llibre de la Çuna e Xara dels moros, as stated in the heading of its index. It was discovered and catalogued by the professor of paleography at the University of Valencia, Don Vicente Pons Alós, among the documentary collections of the heirs of the Lordship of Sumacárcel.
The book, almost complete, with six pages missing - since three hundred and fifty-five articles are known out of the three hundred and sixty-six that it contains - presents dating problems that have not yet been determined with certainty (around 1408), presents a code of Islamic law in the Valencian region.

Although the author defends and recognizes himself as a participant in one of the aforementioned theories, his intellectual honesty allows him to present without distortions or prejudices all the theories elaborated throughout this fascinating historiographical debate, which has occupied a large part of the past century and which continues in force, nowadays.
It also has the virtue of recovering again for the public the work and research of already mythical figures among valencians such as Antonio Ubieto, Ambrosio Huici and Amparo Cabanes, who have tried to silence in some areas and that it is necessary to claim for its importance in the set of studies of the history of Valencia.
